在这项研究中，这一成果不仅验证了“重瞳”测速系统的测速能力和精度，科研人员通过数值模拟和实际观测验证了“重瞳”测速系统的有效性。为搜寻致密星、中国科学院大学等单位的科研人员，成功研发出一项新天文观测技术——“重瞳”测速系统。科研人员成功观测到热亚矮星-白矮星双星系统HD 265435的视向速度变化，相关研究成果发表于《中国科学：物理学 力学 天文学（英文版）》。
